I stand in awe

As I stand before my cousin Mae and her husband Vince for the first time this morning, I stand in awe. The spiritual strength is unbelievable. I marvel at their inner peace despite the losses they had to face in the last seven months.

It really takes a lot of faith to face all these trials. I could not even begin to imagine what is going through inside their hearts but from what I saw, God continues to fill up the emptiness that may have been there after the loss of their two angels here on earth.

They also presented me a gift that has touched my heart. I extend my humble thanks for giving such meaning to the poem I had written in honor of Erin.

Now that Erin has woken up, we all know that God has given her the ultimate gift. And as she takes His hand, we find much solace in knowing that together with Kuya Renzo, she will live a blessed life in heaven. Her new journey to life everlasting has began...and part of her mission is to keep watch on Papa Vince and Mama Mae.
