Toxic

It's been hectic the past few weeks. My schedule had been toxic through and through. I've been neglecting answering emails (...and I doubt if I can answer all that need a reply). So to those who are still waiting for a reply from me, so sorry. You probably need to wait much longer. OR you can email me again.

Halloween. Now that is something that took a bit of my time the past week. It was a rollercoaster ride. We had great plans...go to QC early Sunday morning, go to Loyola to visit my mom and then attend a halloween party in the afternoon. Then back home early Monday morning.

Not so. The car broke down last Thursday. Had to inform all concerned that we cannot make it. Didn't start Reb's costume anymore. Saturday afternoon, car okay. Informed people concerned we will be able to make it after all. Went to the supermarket to buy some stuff. Good grief. Car wouldn't start anymore. Informed people concerned we won't be able to make it anymore. And that was final. My thought was: we had been twice warned.

Rushed Reb's costume (just put together whatever I can find at home) so she can go Trick-or-Treating at SM Southmall. Finished around 1am Sunday.

Reb had a great time. We even joined the Halloween Costume Contest at the last minute since we really didn't have much to do that day. She made it to the Top 30 although we fell short against the 10 who really spent time and money on their get-ups. That's okay though. The important thing is that she enjoyed herself. And me? Kah..kah...kah...so tired running around finding stores who were giving treats.

And now that Halloween is over, it's time to prepare for the next holiday...Christmas. With prices skyrocketing without end, let's hope that we don't turn into pumpkins during the longest holiday we Filipinos celebrate.
